2010 Scholarships For Rural Students
The scheme offers financial assistance to people who want to study nursing but find the costs too high. Successful applicants can receive up to $10,000 for full-time University study.
There are 110 scholarships available to students currently undertaking or planning to enrol in an accredited Australian University course, to become a registered nurse.
Ten of these Scholarships are reserved for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants.
There are a further 20 scholarships of $5,000 available to enrolled nurses who are studying part-time to upgrade their qualification to status of registered nurse.
