Nursing issues and professional development are of paramount importance to the NSWNMA.
The Association is involved in many public policy forums to improve the lives of nurses and midwives and also actively participates in community forums to improve the lives of the communities which these nurses serve.

The NSW Nurses and Midwives' Association continuously reviews and develops policies.
