All former nurses and staff of Rozelle Hospital (pictured above) are invited to farewell the old hospital and gather with former colleagues at a reunion afternoon tea on Saturday, 19 July, and a formal cocktail party on Saturday, 26 July.

The hospital in picturesque Callan Park operated for more than 130 years, firstly as an asylum for the mentally insane and later as a psychiatric hospital.

In May, patients and staff were relocated from run-down Rozelle Hospital to Concord Hospital.

A photographic competition, attracting more than 300 entries from staff, captures the original grandeur of the former hospital and grounds. These images now adorn the walls of the new hospital at Concord.

The reunion afternoon tea will be held on Saturday, 19 July, at the Conference Centre, Rozelle Hospital, from 1pm to 5 pm. Cost $25.

A more formal cocktail party will be held on Saturday, 26 July, at 7pm in the Kirkbride Building, Rozelle Hospital. Cost $100, dress cocktail.

All former staff and anyone affiliated with Callan Park, Broughton Hall and Rozelle Hospital are welcome.
