Practice Nurses: Have Your Say 2009

Type: Union News       Subject: General
8 April 2009

Practice Nurses in general or specialist practice settings are invited to participate in this survey to discuss fair pay and conditions.

The NSW Nurses’ Association and the NSW Australian Medical Association (AMA) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

This commits to discussing fair pay and conditions for Practice Nurses in NSW.
This will be a first step to developing a benchmark in the industry.

The AMA will then encourage their members to adopt this agreement, and Practice Nurses can ask their employer to adopt it in their workplace.

The timing coincides with the upcoming introduction of new industrial laws that will cover practice nurses.

Your input, as a Practice Nurse in a general or specialist practice setting, is vital to help us develop minimum wages and conditions most relevant to your sector.

Please complete this survey (below in Microsoft Word) and return by fax to NSWNA Attn. Liz McDonald on 02 9550 3667.
