Because We Care - Quality Care for Older Australians

The passion and dedication of aged care nurses must be properly recognised and valued.
Throughout 2010, NSWNA together with the ANF will campaign to deliver a strong message to community, government and providers that aged care nurses do a great job, that improvement to wages, better staffing levels and skill mixes are vital to securing the best care for residents.

This campaign is about you. Join us and find out more.

Upcoming Because We Care Campaign Activities
In March the NSWNA will be targeting two Federal electorates: Sharon Bird MP, member for Cunningham, which is in the Wollongong area; and The Hon. Anthony Albanese, member for Grayndler, around the Marrickville area.

Our aim is to get the message out to the community and also to our colleagues in the public and private hospital systems that aged care is everyone?s concern.

We would like to hear from any members who can help with campaigning activities in the community, including stalls, especially during the fortnight from 15 March.
